Ran a computer on my car got codes p0750, p0601 and p0442 what does this mean? And my trans doesnt shift good anymore, it drives but above 40mph, im doomed, what do i do, this is a fortune to fix? Im scared its only a matter of time until my car shuts down on me for good!

Sounds like pump problems in the trans or bad shift solenoids in the trans. So sorry to say but the trans needs to be taken apart. Maybe a SRTA (serviced rebuilt trans assy. )trans is better. It is a factory bebuilt with a 5 year 50,000mile warranty anywhere in the U.S.

code p0601=Internal Control Module Memory Check Sum Error
did you replace the parts with the same size engine and trans.
it sounds like the computer isn't recognizing them,
or the computer is faulty

p1781 is manufacturer control transmission, p0731 is gear 1 ratio incorrect, p1784 is manufacturer control transmission, p0700 is trans, control system malfunction. all of these codes refer to tranny.This code normally points to a faulty transmission control module, but this is an expensive part and you should have an experienced Dodge technician diagnose the problem first. or a transmission specialist. the other codes are probably associated with the p0700 code. have a good day !

check connections in the wiring harness and ECM unit
that many codes indicates a wiring or ECM problem

You replaced your trans with what,a used unit?

I will try to help..ihave a 2000 dodge durango with the 4.7 v8..My trans started shifting funny and the rpm's would go up to 2000+rpm when i was driving, which means i was getting really crappy gas mileage at 40mph..took it to shop, engine light on,put it on machine to diagnose..got a generic p0700 code plus a couple others..code basically says tranny is fn up..
Try this a cheap fix first that worked for me..on the transmission,driver side there are two sensors..input/output transmission speed sensors..to be exact..they send info to computer to regulate shift points in trans..upshift and downshift..replace them both although one may be the culprit..cost at the dealer here in Delaware was $40.72 for one..there is one bolt(8mm)and one electrical connection to each..time to replace both about 15minutes you don't even have to jack up truck but you will have to get underneath.

Hope this helps and good luck..if you change them and find the tranny shifting properly..cycling the on and off switch will eventually turn off the engine light..just drive it normally i mean..go here shut it off..get back in start it up and go..it will go out..good luck

all of the above codes seem to have a common cause, they all list a bad ecm (computer) as being a cause, and the last code P0601 points specifically to a bad computer. sorry for the bad news, hope this helps.

Base part number for SSA is 7H148 ,but I believe it is only serviced with a complete control valve body.
