Why is my 2004 pontiac 3800 series shutting down when it gets up to temp?

Take it to a qualified repair shop ! Told you yesterday a rich code would not cause your problem . I also told you it could be ICM - ignition control module , or maybe a crankshaft position sensor . I have over thrity years GM experience , Chevy , Cadillac , Pontiac , Oldsmobile . Buick etc..... So you should let a professional fix it .

What are these codes po0102, po0404, po1404, and possibly 0102 on a 2001 pontiac grand prix 3.8L?

these fault codes all relate to the EGR system of your car , one indicates a blockage has been detected in the egr flow tube and the other one refers to the valve not opening that allows the flow to start into manifold , its kind of unusual to get all these at the same time ,without a good reason as most times they pop up one at a time

I have a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville 3.8 LIV6.. Will a 3800 pontiac motor work for me?? Does it need to be same year as my car??

The motor will fit physically . The Best question is will the computer / PCM recognize and plug in to all connection points . This is why same year is important . Verify at a Auto Parts counter that 3800 series is in same time eg ; 1999 - 2003 all engine parts are same . This will tell you engine swap / versus computer will be OK. If you have PCM from 3800 motor then install it too . pcm talking to pcm is very important ..good luck .

I blew the engine but have found a engine in a 1993 will it work they are both 3800

your 95 has a series 2 motor.
the 93 has a series 1 motor.
it would be better to find a series 2 motor to put in it.
there are a lot of things you would have to change to use the 93.
don't think it would be worth the time and trouble to change them.
any pont. 3.8 from 95 and up should work ok.
