No, but I think Kragen will do the test for free, they hope to sell you the parts to fix the issue.

Spark plug gap for 1997 C1500?

Spark plug gap can affect the life of the condenser if you have a points and condenser ignition. If your car has Capacitive Discharge (CD) ignition, the gap will be OK anywhere between 25 to 30 thou (28 mil is usually optimum). 28 thou on spark plugs is fine for points ignition as well.
If you have a metric feeler gauge, type in "conversion" on your web browser, you will find a number of programs that will convert anything to anything to convert thou (thousandths of an inch) to mm.

Try checking the computer. Some of them were located behind the glove box. If you can open it, look at the computer chips. If one is burnt you will see it.

I have a 1997 Intrepid that keeps overheating. I took it to a shop, and they say that the radiator fans have shorted out fuses. I was just wondering if this was a problem that I could fix on my own,...

Ur problem is easy to solve and must be done quickly to avoid damage to the head or other engine components.
1. Ur two fans must be working and,
2. the thermostat which triggers the fans must be in working order as wel.
3. The two fans have fuses in the fuse comp box, they must not be broken, if so, replace them.
4. Make sure there is optimum coolant in the radiator and that it is clean. Rusty wall and dirt reduces the efficiency of the radiator: u can use radiator flush to get rid of the dirt.
This should answer the heating problem, if it doesnt u may need to have the head

P0700 am I able to fix this myself?

P0700 - Transmission Control System Malfunction

HI, this will need the attention of a skilled transmission tech. the TCM(transmission control module/PCM) is signaling an issue that is a major concern. A diagnostic scan is needed at this time.

The most common issue will be a fault wiring harness but, this could also be an issue that concerns the speed sensor connections as well.

NOTE: Low fluid level can be the cause of many transmission problems. If the fluid level is low locate and repair the leak then check and adjust the fluid level per the Service Information

This repair will cost around 1500 or so. the PCM , if damaged, is a dealer part.(must be ordered and installed by the dealer)

I have tried to reset the oil reset also in a 2007 Hummer it does not reset but keeps flashing reset - did what the instructions required, putting the key in start position, pressing and holding the stem...

then the next step is to take to a dealer to see if they can reset it with the Tech2 Diagnostic Scanner, if that dont work the instrument cluster might need replacing. This will also have to be done at a dealer due to programing needed to be done with Tech2.

Hi, Not sure where to find the diagnostic plug/Connector in my '95 Hyundai Excel lx 5dr. I've been told you can connect a paper clip into this plug and it will give you a engine code through the check...

It is under the dash on the drivers side, and yes there are certain pins that if shorted will start quick test and give the codes stored in the PCM
