You can buy kits for GM radios (wires and connectors) at your bigger auto parts stores.

Need stereo color wiring diagram for 1995 Chevy Astro Van. Old radio stolen.

Easiest to replace would be the factory Delco AM/FM CD...plug in to existing terminals. If wires cut, you should include the plug in terminals with the replacement radio...Local Pic-A-Part is my go to salvage yard radio $25-$75...Walmart also sells radio wire install kits...$14.95? Hope this helps.

How doi install a radio after the original has been stolen and wires ripped out

You will need to buy an install kit even if they did. The back of new Radio's don't have anything but a plug to connect to. So the install kit will be needed to hookup the four {or just two depending on it's already installed options} speakers, the power, and ground. Plus the Antenna cable. They will all be color coded.

I need to know if the shift motor wiring runs through the radio harness. The radio was ripped out and now the 4x4 wont shift . I checked the shift motor and it still works fine, just not at the switch.

is it possible that the switch is not plugged in all the way,? i know this is a stupid question, but you said the radio was ripped out as maybe stolen, now the other day i pulled the radio out of mine as the display stopped illuminating and the same thing happened. the 4x4 switch worked fine before, i started to look around wiggle things when the plug fell onto my hand, i plugged it in and it started to work again,ok fixed! next day, now the 4hi and 4lo lights flash three times and stop then a few min later flash three times and stop, and wont switch into 4x4 lo or hi stuck in auto 4x4

Battery is dying with in 5 min. sitting or running? what could cause this. starter was changed out and is new same for battery. after market stereo was installed and was stolen from dash.?

if it dies while it's still running it probably needs a new alternator. you might also remove the radio fuse to see if maby the thief grounded something out.
