Question about 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

My car is a 93 oldsmobile cutlass supreme and has a new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new ignition module and just had to replace the turnsignal flasher fuse and turnsignal part in the steering column. After all that in the last year all of the sudden my car is acting like it has bad gas or something is not firing right. It idles really high in park then seems to have a hard time getting up to speed until I get over 50mph. The check engine light is not on and it has not died while stopped (yet) the idle,rpm,and loss of power has me concerned. Where should i begin? I just filled tank with premium gas and a gas treatment, but if it does not get better what should I do next? TPS? O2 sensor? spark plugs? help please

My car is acting the same way! I've changed plugs and wires, checked ignition systems and all good!! Recently removed the bad catylic converter and just straight piped it! But still I think it could be oxgen sensor or a vacuum leak somewhere!!! That's bout all I can think of before getting the timing checked

Check for a vacum leak you can do this by spraying starting fluid around vacum hose just be carful don/t spay when engine is hot

Would codes 33 and 54 cause a 93 oldsmobile cutlass supreme not to start


Code 54 is fuel pump circuit, Low voltage,will cause car not to start. Wiring open circuit/short circuit to ground, fuel pump relay, engine oil pressure warning lamp switch
Code 33 is MAP sensor,voltage high, low vacuum indicated.
Wiring short circuit to positive, hose blocked/leaking, MAP sensor, ECM

What makes the fuel pump not kick on on a 92 Oldsmobile Cutlass


There is a red wire close to the battery in the front. It's not connected to anything. Apply positive voltage and that will run your pump for testing purposes.

Replace egr valve still wont start


PROBLEM COULD BE FAULTY FUEL PUMP OR IGNITION MODULE.CHECK FUEL PRESSURE SHOULD BE 41 - 47 PSI. IF NO FUEL PRESSURE TO LOW REPLACE FUEL FILTER.STILL LOW FUEL PUMP FAULTY.IF FUEL PUMP DONT RUN CHECK FUSE AND RELAY.IF FUSE RELAY GOOD PUMP BAD.IF FUEL SYSTEM OKAY USE A SPARK TESTER TO CHECK FOR SPARK AT SPARK PLUGS IF NOT CHECK IGNITION MODULE FUSE IF OKAY IGNITION MODULE COULD BE BAD.USE A CODE SCANNER TO CHECK FOR FAULT CODE IN PCM AND IGNITION MODULE.THIS SAVE YOU FROM SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEY.
