The door closing sensor is usually always located near the hinge mounts of the door.

How do i fix it the problem with the sensor on back passenger door it shows up on dash board as door is open

Many door open sensors self-adjust the first time the door is closed. If something gets between the door jamb and the button switch, the switch can get pushed in too far to actually make the connection when the door is closed.
You may be able to pull the switch back into normal position, or at least replace the switch.

Rear drivers side door ajar light flashes and beeps continually while driving

Hi,
have you looked @ that door's 'sensor'? There should be a button somewhere on the door , the door frame or the body that is activated when the door is opened closed.

Per this LINK the button is a part of the hinge:

2000 GMC Safari, If the dome light is left on it is supposed to turn off after a time. It doesn't. How to fix?

This could be due to a door closed sensor broke and needs replacing Check all Door closed sensors and make sure none of them are defective
As if door is open light will remain on, If sensor has not noticed door is closed then light will not be triggered to turn off after a set time interval normally 1 min

My door ajar sign is on and the doors are closed

did you try spraying the door latch and locks with WD 40? I did on my ford expo. I sprayed each and every door, including the hatchback. Then, I opened and closed them several times. Found out the driver rear door was sticking due to dirt.

The passanger side sliding door on my 94 Crysler Town and Country had been working fine, this morning however when my daughter tried to close it the door bounced back open, and now the door will not close,...

I think something maybe blocking it from closing check really well around the door and near the sensors. If that doesnt work i think a sensor went bad and now wants to stay open. Its like a position sensor tells the door how far to go and when to stop.

It is likely that you have a loose connection at the sensor somewhere between the sensor and the computer. Start by checking the terminations at the door sensor, and if they are tight, use a ohmeter and check the contact resistance for the switch in both open and closed positions. It could be that the switch is shot.

Hi,

Check the sensors on the body of the car, it's possible that one of the is broken or stuck. You can close all the doors but one, press the sensor & see if the display is gone, do this on every door till you find the sensor that is giving you trouble,

Good luck,
Eitan.
