Hyaundai Sonata 2.4 how 2006 Changed cam and crank sensors idle improved. But still a problem, worse if I push the clutch in. Is there a sensor on the clutch plate?

If engine has high miles it could be bad thrust bearing. Also possible bad clutch release bearing, loose flywheel or pressure plate bolts. Always clear codes after replacing bad sensors.

When my automatic changes from 3rd to 4th gear their is a shudder between the gears prior to the change, if I go slow it changes their is no shudder

Could be a number of things, dirty fluids, solenoid packs or sensors bad worn clutches converter, thrust plates piston or pistons bad in the gear clutch plate housing ,i would start with the simple fluid change first.

Crankshaft endplay double the max spec 01 sebring 2.7L

check for after market thrust bearings ( federal mogul ETC) . next option is to have an engineering shop manufacture the thrust bearings . IF you cannot get thrust bearings then you have little option but to junk the crank as a floating shaft will give you problems with timing belt/chain alignment and ignition timing along with crank sensor problems.

Where is the knock sensor located in 2000 chevy 5.3 v-8?

They are located below the intake manifold, you may have to remove the intake to change them. The sensors may be shot, they have a problem with water puddling in their mounting wells, after changing, seal the sensors with an RTV to keep water out of the wells

The Knock Sensor (KS) system detects engine pre-detonation. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) retards the spark timing based on the signals from the knock sensors. The knock sensors produce an AC voltage when specific frequencies are detected. The knock sensor voltages are an input to the PCM. The amount of AC voltage produced is proportional to the intensity of the knock.
When you ****** timing fuel mileage goes down.

How easy is it to replace a noisy clutch thrust bearing. 53 plate Ford Focus 1.6 petrol zetec.

The thrust bearing is normally a part of a new clutch kit.Comprises pressure plate, clutch plate and thrust bearing. You will need to remove the gear box to change the bearing. The bearing basically slides onto the gearbox shaft. Recommend changing all three rather than just the beaing. You may want to get quotes from garages as dealers are expensive.
