The brake fluid is located at the drivers side of the firewall, down from the windshield wiper, on the steering column side. The power steering fluid reservoir is located on the engine where the belts or belt is, that turns all the components.

Can I add something other than brake fluid (maybe a brake treatment that is heavier) to the brake fluid to help keep the clutch from slipping on a 1996 rav4

no, the hydraulics is not the issue, its time to replace the clutch. there is no quick fix or easy patch job, replace the clutch (hydraulics dont affect how the clutch holds, they mearly either disengage the clutch or do nothing)

My power steering absolutely drops off the face of the planet when I have to turn slowly. I bought STP power steering fluid, but I was wondering if it is a safe product to use for my 1996 Buick Regal with...

power steering fluid is usually transmission fluid, if you use a fluid that is too thin it can cause this problem, the power steering reservoir is under the hood.....hope this helps.....cheers.

I need to know where to put the brake fluid

In the brake master cylinder resevoir located under the hood directly over your steering shaft. You should see a rectangular shaped plastic cap. If you need to add brake fluid you need to have your brake system checked. You should never have to add brake fluid.

When the car is steered fully to either left or right it seems that the brake engages. the car just stops rolling.

You have a problem with the 4 wheel drive power transfer case clutch, get the fluid changed in it, that should help.
