If the power outlet is not working, you may need to look at these fuses:
• A 15 Amp fuse in the under-dash fuse box - it would be fuse number 18
• A 10 Amp fuse in the under-dash/ relay box, it would be fuse number 3
If these fuses are okay or if your car has different fuses then the ones we mentioend, then take your car to a professional. But first, follow this link to see if all seems in place for your power outlet: http://www.nisuv.com/nicont-42.html

Fuse #13 is the cigarette lighter 15amp and for the back seat power socket check fuses #27-10amp, both under the dash and #51 15amp under the bonnet.
Hope this helps you.

IT SOUNDS LIKE THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM JUST TO MAKE SURE IT WONT HURT TO CHECK YOUR FUSE PANEL PROBLY A 15 AMP FUSE BUT IT SHOULD BE LISTED ON YOUR FUSE PANEL AXCESS DOOR

The problem is in the power plug. I removed the bad unit and replaced it with one from Walmart ($6). The unit looks good but internallay it is open on the ground lead.
