Just need to remove the calapier and calapier bracket the center nut is only for axle

How to change the front brakes on a plymouth breeze

jack up car, put jack stands under car, remove front wheels. compress calipers by inserting a flat pry bar between inside pad and rotor. remove caliper pins (either 7mm hex head or 10mm wrench). take off old pads . install new pads and caliper pins and wheels. pump brake pedal until pedal becomes firm, then lower car off of jack stands.

remove tire
remove axle nut
remove 3 bolts holding hub in
sometimes may need to hit hub with hammer after all bolts out to get it to release

Replace left side front drive axle

  1. loosen center wheel nut (look up utube)
  2. remove wheels
  3. remove rod end
  4. remove strut bolts
  5. remove center wheel bolts
  6. press center shaft off or use a brass punch
  7. drop rotor assembly down
  8. pull shaft out ( check for circlips or bolting plates)

Back brakes nut for holding rotors, size?

I'm assuming you want to remove the rear rotors. No rear brake rotor nut for holding the rotor on that I know off. I just had my rear rotors off and turned on my 94 Concorde LX.
After removing the tire I diligenty removed the star washers (2) from the lug studs. Then a little spray of PB Blaster around the center hub. Next I removed the 2 10mm bolts holding the caliper to the rotor. A slight nudge with a rubber mallet and the caliper is free, but do support it, don't let it dangle. Another slight nudge on the rotor with a rubber mallet and the rotor literally fell off the car.
There is a rear axle nut and bearing inside of the center hub that is secured by a large 34mm hex nut, on the outside of that a lock ring that looks like a large black bottle cap with a cotter pin going through it for retention. That has nothing to do with removing the rotors. With a little patience, lubricant and gentle tapping, the rotors slide off the center hub. Hope this helps.

How to change CV joint mazda 323 mod 1991

In order to change the cv joint, you will need to remove the wheel and the brake caliper and rotor. Raise vehicle on jack stands. Remove the wheel and remove the brake pads and caliper. Tie the caliper up out of the way, do not disconnect the brake line attached. Once the caliper is removed, slide the rotor off. Using the correct size socket, remove the nut in center of hub. Some vehicles have a kotter pin in the shaft just in front of nut. If so, remove pin before nut. Next, you will need to loosen a few bolts that hold the strut to the hub assembly. Once you have hub free from strut, turn the hub either left or right while having someone push in on the cv joint while turning joint left or right. Doing so will allow the joint to slide out of hub. Next, using a pry bar, insert between end of transaxle and transmission and pry out. To install new axle, align the axle with transmission and slide into transmission. Carefully work the other end of axle into the center of the hub assembly. Once you have it in the hub, tap gently with a rubber mallet until you hear it "pop" into transmission. Once it is in transmission, replace the bolts connecting the hub to strut. Replace nut on center or cv joint and tighten just until it seats against the not overtighten. Replace kotter pin with new pin. Slide the rotor over the studs, replace caliper and brake pads, install wheel and you are done.

not many a socket set so you can rmove the caliper a pair of plyers to remove the pins and a big screwdriver/bar to puch the pistons in the calipers in

How do I get the front brake rotors off a 1999 nissan pathfinder, 2 wheel drive

First block the rear wheels so they won't roll.
2. Jack the front end up and put on jack stands don't trust the jack for long periods of time.
3. Remove front wheels and brake calipers.
4. In the center of the rotor as you look at it is a dust cover remove this
5. There should be a lock cap with a cotter pin thru it, remove the pin and lock cap
6. Remove the nut holding the bearings in place.
7. Remove rotor by pulling toward you, be careful the bearings will come out also, don't let them fall or get dirty.
8. There is a seal in the back of the rotor to give access to inner bearing.
9. Replace seals and repack inner and outer bearings and reverse to install. Being careful not to over tighten the front wheel bearings. If you do they wil sieze up then you have a real mess.

I'm trying to remove the front rotor from a 91 Honda Accord and I need to remove the four bolts that retain the hub unit to the steering knuckle. I cannot find explicit instructions on how to pull the cv...

ok not sure the set up without seeing it but if it a floating rotor remove the caliper and braket that the caliper bolts to there will be to phillips screws holding rotor on in the front of rotor remove those and take rotor off. If you have trouble with those screws let me know. If it is a pressed on rotor witch alot of hondas have you will need a slide hammer and a piece that attaches to the end that looks like a ducks foot with four holes or the other one that is not flat but raised you can borrow them tools from autozone. Remove axle nut in center and washer. You see witch attachment will fit over atleast two studs where the lug nuts go (over one stud on one side an the other across not right next to each other) then put lug nuts on to hold the attachment on get them pretty tight. then screw the slide hammer in the center of the attachement screw in a good distance. Know for the fun part you might want to grab a rag slide the piece that slides with wrag wrapped around slide it close to the rotor **** it hard till it hits the end becarefull not to pinch your finger or hand then just keep sliding it close to the rotor and slam it back to the outer end hard some come off easy some take some work just keep hammering away at it. stop every know and then to check lug nuts to make sure they stay tight, you should notice if it is coming out or not dont give up it will come. Also becarefull when it comes off it could hurt you besure to stand on the side. Note, you dont have to remove rotor to remove axle. To remove axle you must remove center axle nut. Then you have to disconnect tie rod end, remove the cotter pin take off bolt use a tie rod seperator slide it in between the tie rod and hole try not to mess up rubber boot hit the end with hammer untill it pops free, then there might be three bolts underneath take those out, if there not there then just disconnect bolts that hold the steering knuckle to the strut take them out pull down you should now have enough room to push xle through if it dont slide out of the hole easy use a punch and hammer put punch in to hole at end of axle hit with hammer, I suggest spraying with wd40 if that dont free it up, take the axle nut turn it around backwards scew on till flush with axle end hit with hammer (do not damage the end) once it comes out you should be able to get to the four bolts. if you just need the rotor off dont worry about axle removal when you put the rotor back on it should go on enough to thread axle nut and tighten pressing rotor back on, before you do check the bearings(balls there should not be one missing put some high temp grease in there. tighten axle nut till rotor is flush all the way in it is best to use a air gun or it will be difficult. hope this helps. I will check this post to see if you run into a problem.

How do i change rear hub

remove brake drum and center dust cap..remove nut holding hub and pull hub off spindle..use a new nut also..tighten securely
