Could be the thermostat has gone bad. this would over-cool the engine and keep the coolant from getting hot enuf to warm the heater core.

Heatdoesn't work, A/C blows out warm air and defrosts blow out cold air

Right think the problem is the heater core is blocked with corrosion ,now remove the bottom hose from the rad and the heater hoses then flush every which way you can including through the heater core reversing direction then ,refit all the hoses fill with water only and see if heater works if so the remove the bottom hose again and drain ,then add a minium of 3 litres of antifreeze ,its a anti corrosion agent as well as antifreeze and without it the internal of the engine will corrode and the slurry will block the heater first then the radiator ,

I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 with very little heat. The lines get hot going to the heater core, but I do not get enough heat out to keep the cab warm. I contacted heatertreater, but my hot cold control...

I have the same truck, I have flushed the radiator both ways, flushed the heater core both ways flushed the engine four times, I have owned this truck for eight years and still cannot get it to heat up the cab. It will keep the windshield defrosted but that is all. If you find any tricks to fix this let me know PLEASE

No heat in car. Replaced climate control andstill does not work

Sounds like heater core is clogged. Try to flush radiater, keeping heat on high, (set it to hottest heat setting) Buy the good stuff, as for help in selecting, you don't want to have to do it again. Follow instructions to the letter! Only do it when motor is COLD. DO NOT OPEN RADIATOR CAP WHILE HOT!!!

1991 dodge daytona interior wont heat up, just blows cold air

the heater core is plugged... try flushing it in reverse... water into the side that is cold.... and see if that unplugs it... if not you will likely have to change the heater core
