O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 location 307 1.4 2004

Notes in relation to bank numbers
•Bank 1 always refers to the group of cylinders which includes No.1 cylinder.
•The majority of small engine European vehicles will only have Bank 1 sensors fitted (i.e. 1 x Front & 1 x Rear).
•An inline 6-cylinder engine may have cylinders 1, 2 & 3 referred to as Bank 1 & cylinders 4,5 & 6 referred to as Bank 2.
•V configured engines would normally have Bank 1 & Bank 2 sensors, with again Bank 1 referring to the group of cylinders which contains No. 1 cylinder.
Notes in relation to sensor numbers
•Sensor 1 always refers to the front / regulating (Upstream / Pre-cat / Upper) sensor.
•Sensor 2 always refers to the rear / diagnostic (Downstream / Post-cat / Lower) sensor.
N.B. Some larger capacity vehicles may have 2 rear / diagnostic (Downstream / Post-cat / Lower) sensors on the same bank, which may be referred to by EOBD codes as sensor 2 & sensor 3. Sensor 2 would relate to the rear sensor closest to, or in the catalyst, with sensor 3 relating to the rear sensor furthest from the catalyst.
Notes in relation to position
In some catalogue entries, a sensor will be listed as fitting in left or right position. This is always taken from the point of view of sitting in the vehicle (i.e. For UK RHD vehicles Right = Offside, Left = Nearside).
Correct identification of the relevant oxygen sensor is more important than ever as many vehicles now may have devices such as temperature, pressure and NOx sensors fitted to the exhaust system in addition to the oxygen sensors.

Will not start p2045 p2197 p0190 p2247 p2245 p2248 p2249 p2518 comes up

code p2045 refers to reductant temperature sensor--high input==causes --wiring faulty sensor
code p2197 refers to heated oxygen sensor(HO2S)1 bank 2-- signal stuck lean===causes HO2S---fuel pressure---injectors---intake leak
also refers to oxygen sensor (O2s)1 bank 2 -signal stuck lean===causes--O2S--fuel pressure---injectors---intake leak
also refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1 bank 2--implausible signal===causes wiring---short to ground--short to positive--HO2S---ECM
code po190 refers to fuel rail pressure (FRP) sensor-circuit malfunction===causes --wiring ---fuel rail pressure sensor---ECM
code p2247 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2s) 1 bank 1 reference voltage--open circuit===causes--wiring ---ho2s
also refers to o2s 1 bank 2 reference voltage ---open circuit===causes wiring---o2s
also refers to HO2S 1 bank 2 ---no signal===causes wiring--ho2s---ECM
code p2245 refers to HO2S 1 bank 1 --reference voltage --circuit low===causes--wiring short to ground--ho2s also refers to o2s 1 bank 1 circuit low===causes wiring short to ground--o2s
code p2248 refers to the ho2s I bank --performance problem===causes --wiring--ho2s
code p2249 has the same causes short to ground---ho2s and o2s
code p2518 refers to a/c refrigerant pressure sensor B ---circuit high===causes wiring short to positive--a/c refrigerant pressure sensor.
so after all that replace all the ho2s and o2s sensors using the correct tools so that the wiring is not damaged and check the wiring back to the ECM for burns and rub marks.

Code p1131 on 97 f150 4.6 on bank 1 what does it mean?

P1131--Lack of HO2S-11 Switch,Sensor Indicates Lean

Front O2 Sensor -- at converter inlet,pass side (Bank #1)

Could be ten things

Check that you have no vacuum leaks anywhere,including
the exhaust manifold & system

Check air filter cover & ducting for leaks

I doubt you have experience or test equip to test
the O2 Sensors, so replace both front ones, if you
have dual exhaust

Where is the bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor located in a 2006 hyundai sontata gls v6?

The bank has to do with which side of the engine. The 'Sensor 1' indicates that it is upstream of the catalytic converter.
