turn signals and hazzards work correctly but the hazzard/ blinker module clicks when the car runs. It clicks at a faster rate then when the blinker or hazzard lights are used. A new module didn't fix the problem.

turn signals and hazzard lights work normally but the hazzard/turn signal module clicks constantly when the car is running and it clicks at a faster rate then when either the turn signal or hazzard is selected. Replacing the module didn't fix the problem.

Check for blown fuse, if the fuse is good, the turn signal switch in steering column control both of these functions.

I have the same problem.. I found that this was a common problem and the car was recalled for the 2000-2001 model yrs.. the hazard-turn signal module is above the AC controls.. the dash panel has to be taken off and the unit replaced or if the plug is corroded it might be able to be cleaned and plugged back in..the dealer I took my car to just replaced 2 bulbs ..that wasn't the problem.. I'll have to bring it back and tell em what they should already know....hope this helpedu can go to the NHTSA to read about it: http://www.safercar.gov/portal/site/safercar/menuitem.13dd5c887c7e1358fefe0a2f35a67789/?vgnextoid=eb5c56192d8c9110VgnVCM1000002fd17898RCRD

My turn signals quit working on my 98 explorer after working on the gas tank. Is there anything by the gas tank that would affect the turn signals?

there is a hazard flasher and a turn signal flasher. if the hazards work turn them on and find the flasher making the noise this will show what it looks like as the turn signal looks the same. the signal should be around the same area somewhere as the manufacture does not put them in a set location. if the hazards do work then the wiring is good and working on the gas tank had no affect with your problem. if they don`t work then you may have damaged the wiring in that area and will have to take a look.

2000 tacoma flashers don't work but turn sig do work!

The hazard switch gets power from the horn fuse which is hot all the time, and from the turn signal fuse which is hot when the key switch is on. The turn signal switch gets power from the hazard switch and both use the same flasher.
So if the turn signals work but the hazard switch does not power the lights, and both fuses have power, I would say the problem is inside the hazard switch.

My hazard lights don't flash but turning signals work

in new cars, especially premium ones have digital circuits for signals and flashers. they are seperate on BMW for instance. if only flasher is problematic reason can be the switch itself.

My turn signals don't work but my hazards are fine

try pushing, pulling, tugging on hazard switch button when turn signal is on, left or right, if they start blinking, the turn signal switch is bad.

No turn signals they come on but don't flash

It's probably the turn signal flasher. It is usually located under the dash along with the hazard light flasher. If you don't know what it looks like, then go to a parts store and look at a new one. Once you have located one, then remove it. Try the hazard flashers. If they work, then replace that flasher with a new one. If they don't, then reinstall that flasher and look for another one like it. When you find one, replace it with the new flasher and try the turn signals. (remember : the key must be on for the turn signals to operate). I hope this information helps you and thank you for using Fixya.com.

How to fix turn signal on 86 Chevy Astro Van

you don`t say but do the lights work either on the front/back on both sides.if not then it may be a fuse that needs replacing or need a bulb replacement.if the lights work but don`t flash then it sounds like a signal flasher problem.the flasher is located in the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side.if the hazard flashers work then turn them on to find the hazard flasher by the fuse panel then you will know what the signal flasher looks like and change the signal flasher.make sure you change the one for the signals and not the hazard one.if the hazards work then i would say the signal switch is good as the hazards work through the same switch.
