Hi, that would be the front coil pack per the picture below. Please note that a misfire (trouble code P0307) could be caused by a number of things other than the coil. Make sure your ignition wires are good and have a compression test done if the problem persists. Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6715318-causes_gasoline_engine_misfires . These are generic instructions.

If one coil goes bad you replace them all
eventually the rest will go out
fuel economy will be much better also when replaced

Engine yellow light is flashing and engine is not running smoothly

Hi It sounds like the engine management system has detected a fault. I`m assuming its a petrol engine and the most common problem is one of the coils has gone.
To find the exact fault the car needs to have a diagnostic check which will tell you which coil or other component has malfunctioned.
Good luck i`m sure it won`t be a big problem

Need a diagram of spark plug wire routing, may have crossed wires, 95 3.8

This should solve your problem. Firing order 1s 1-4-2-5-3-6. Just connect the tower numbers on the coilpack to the sparkplugs of the cylinders as numbered in the diagram :

Its a little heisitation wen i pull off its kind of slugish someone told me jt could be my coilpacks or spark plugs

They may be right, a bad coilpack will cause this problem, a good thing to do first would be to have the computer scanned for codes, the codes will tell you what cylinder is misfiring, there are lots of autopart stores that will scan for free, these are known for bad coil packs they recommend replacing all when one goes bad but its to costly i would just replace the bad one and depending on the mileage i would install new sparkplugs and a fuel filter, hope this helps, good luck.

I have a missfire in cylinder7 but i have replaced coilpack and sparkplug what else could be causeing this

Fuel supply, air intake and vacuum leak(inside the cylinder). I recommend doing an injector balance test as well as a cylinder leakage (vacuum leaks) test to determine whats causeing the miss.

My 2004 mercury mountaineer is sputtering when accelerating up hills what is the problem

Depending on which engine you have, this sounds like bad sparkplug wires, or a bad coilpack,if you have the 4.6 engine then you have 8 coilpacks one for each cylinder, the best way to pinpoint which coil is bad is to have the computer scanned for history codes, maybe it picked up the misfire and stored the cylinder that was misfiring, hope this helps.

Won't start turns over getting fuel and fire

make sure you are getting spark through the sparkplug wires. a sparkplug tester is the easiest way, or take a wire off one of the plugs try starting it and have another person watch the wire to see if a spark is coming off the wire to the sparkplugNOTE set the wire close to the sparkplug but leave a small gap between plug and wire so you can see the sparks. if not getting spark check all fuses first, otherwise the coil could be bad. or it could have coilpacks and one could be badNOTE every coilpack has two studs for wire, sometimes only one side of coilpack works if so it is bad both sides haft to work.
