Question about 1992 Ford Tempo
Sounds like you could have a clogged fuel filter, or possibly a restricted catalytic converter. Does hesitate and **** or just wont go?

Probably the head gasket has gone, or it can be a problem with fueling, take it to a garage.
Check that car is not in limp mode, in this case you will get a red light on

Check wheel balance,
check steering linkages for loosness - such as tie rod ends, steering rack linkages etc,
check driveline for worn/loose joints and bearings.

SOURCE: Rear end makes rowing sound
THE LEAK is an axle seal leaking the noise is bearings in rear end could be axle bearing of carrier/pinion bearings while driving shift weight of truck side to side see if noise changes if so it is axle bearing if not then most likely differential bearings
