Look for a relay block at the right front fender, under the hood. Bottom of the cover should show relay locations.

Can't find location of all six spark plugs

The plugs are located below the 6 ignition coils. The three front ignition coils are located underneath the plastic engine cover that has the V6 3000 marking on it. The other three coils are located in the same position, in the other engine head, towards the rear of the engine compartment. They don't have a cover over them. You will have to unbolt and unplug each ignition coils to remove it.

Where do the spark plug and wires go on my 1999 nissan maxima

The Spark Plugs are located under the Coil Pack in the Cylinder Head. You need to remove the silver cover on the front part of the engine which are held down by Allen Bolts to access the Coil Pack. You will need to remove the two bolts holding the Coil Pack to the Cylinder Head. Pull up on the Coil to remove the Coil and inside the hole will be the Spark Plug. The rear part of the engine next to the firewall has no cover so you will need to just remove the Coil Pack. The Nissan Maxima is very picky about the brand of Spark Plugs you replace them with, You should only use NGK Platinum Plugs or Better in your Maxima, Any other brand will make your car run rough.

How to change spark plugs on the v6 Nissan 2000 Maxima?

For the 3 spark plugs in front:
1. You would have to remove the plastic protective cover (this cover is silver&red w/ the words "nissan and v6 3000")
2. unplug connector and remove coil (DO NOT mix up the coils, keep the same coils on the same cylinder)
3. Remove spark plug

Rear 3 plugs: located on the rear of the intake (the black pipes atop the engine). there are 3 openings at the rear of the black intake pipes, each opening has a coil mounted.
1. Unplug coil connector and remove coil
2. remove spark plug (you'll need a long extension)
***Installation is reverse, be sure not to over tighten the plugs!! Use anti-seize compound on all the new plugs threading. Hopefully this helps!!

Need firing order diagram..

For 2000 Nissan Maxima SE 3.0 liter DOHC V-6 (VQ30DE) check this...

The spark plugs are located under the coils. There are three towards the front of the car under the 3.0 plastic cover. The other three are towards the firewall in the air intake plenum. All you have to do is remove the bolt that is holding the coil, I believe it is a 10 mm then you "slide out" the coil which has a plastic extension going into the engine. You need a ratchet with an extension to remove the plug. Reverse to reinstall plugs. Repeat as necessary.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

I can't find the back row of spark plugs

unlike the front spark plugs which are under the little plastic cover, the rear spark plugs are located almost against the fire wall. they are not covered by the same as the front. there are little green clips that hold on to the ignition coils, locate those. they are in between the intake manifold. directly below are small bolts that hold down the the spark plug wires (connected to the little green clips) remove the bolts and pull out the coil pack. you will need the same size extension as you needed on the front. hope this helps

I cant find 3 out of 6 spark plugs on a 3.0 can you help please i found the three up top in the back by the firewall

Hello! The back three plugs are located under the coils much like the front three. 4 mm Allen bolts hold the plastic cover in place.
#2-4-6 are left to right on rear bank. #1-3-5 are left to right on the front. If you are going to change the plugs they come gapped at .042". Use magnetic sockets (8 mm, 10mm) with a 10" extension.
You can make life easier by removing the Purge Control Valve to make access to #6 (two 12mm nuts).

The coils have green sliders that you push to release the coil connectors. Then unbolt the the coils, pull up and out; Walla!!! There are the plugs.

Starter is hard to find on 1992 nissan maxima se

The starter for a 92 Nissan Maxima is located in the front of the motor. In the front bottom of the motor on the driver side (right side if facing front of car).
It is cylinder like in shape with a little cylinder thing hooked to it (solenoid). There will be two or three wires hooked to it (one large wire and one little hooked to the solenoid). So, to find the starter, get on the ground, under the front of the car, look for the cylinder looking thing in the front bottom of the motor with a few wires sticking out of it. It sits almost directly below the battery...(well, directly in line of is at least a foot below the starter in distance, and probably just a bit more to the center of the car).

Tune up

You have to remove the plastic cover on the front bank of cylinders and then remove the 3 ignition modules these are recognized by the three wire connector attached to each one then with an 6 inch extension and spark plug socket remove the plugs . The rear set of plugs is about the same only the ignition coils are not covered once you see what the front ones look like you will be able to do the rear ones with no problem
