Open the hood and you will see a red cap near the main fuse box. That is the positive (+) RED jumper connection. Just north of that you will see a negative (-) BLACK cap which is the top of the strut mount where you connect the negative BLACK jumper cable,

On the inside of fender wall is a bolt that holds the power cable don't have to get in battery compartment the ground should be next to it or just place negative cable on the engine any place as long as makes a good contact i think you wont have trouble but if you do let me know and i try to help all the way thanx.

I need a wire diagram of a starter for a 1989 Isuzu pickup 2.3 engine from under the truck.

If it worked a few times, the wiring is probably correct. Your symptom indicates a low battery or bad connection. Clean and tighten battery terminals as well as where the cables connect to the engine and starter. Try jump starting. If it jump starts, check the voltage at the battety with the truck running. Voltage should be at least 14vdc. If not, remove the alternator and have it tested at your local parts store.

Replaced battery in 1999 Lexus ls400 dashboard flashes from taillamp failure to headlight leveling. Battery light comes on but goes off while driving.

Have your battety tested for a bad cell, while your driving tbe putting out more voltage, more than likely your batt is bad.

Where do double vacume lines from front accuators cnnect

It will be on the passenger side of the truck in the engine. right above the battety on the fire wall. You should see the line for the heating coil. Right next to the hood hinge. Hope this fixes your problems.

Prosound disco lights broken

more likly lazor. and personally i would leave it be. check for proper battety supplie amps and otherwise consult the designer and request proper instructions for bulb replacements, sometimes its an art. and sometimes its a recall. i personally would do without the lazar.

I have charging problems replaced alternator twice

Is your voltage regulator internal in the alternator? If not, you may try replacing that since it regulates the voltage being put back into battery when used by the car. Make sure there are no things remaining on when you turn vehicle off. An item that was installed by a third party like a radio or driving lights or similar stuff could effect the draining of a battery. If you replaced the battery, be sure you get one with the most cold cranking amps you can find. You may also install a voltage gauge in car to check your voltage as you drive your car. Cheap batteries that you may purchase are exactly that, cheap. Investing in a good battery can help and remember if it goes bad prematurely you can bring it back and get a pro-rated price return on it depending on the quoted months listing on it. For example a 72 month battery is suppose to last 72 months+ and can be returned or prorated towards a new battery. Alternators are also in this same type of group. You want to by a decent one because the cheap ones are bad. Many Autoparts stores will test both of these items for free for you. I suggest having one check those parts and that way your not replacing things that could possibly be still good. It could be something else completely causing the problem.

When turning key all the way over it simply does nothing what could it be

You'll likely need a new ignition switch. (The electrical side) You can confirm this by pulling the lower steering cover when issue is occurring, and using a test light on the black and yellow wire when turning key to "Start" position. If test light doesn't illuminate, replace switch. (Easy)
