Assisted direction reservoir? hmm,,. that's an interesting name... It sounds like you may mean the power steering pump? - that would be located at the front of the engine, typically belt driven. Some vehicles may have the reservoir located on the wheel well or firewall, either way, it should have ayellow cap and say power steering fluid only on it - if in fact my assumption is correct with the name.
best regards

Took my car to good-year needs motor gastkets replaced the only problem with the car is that it over heats once in awhile

Here's what I would try.
Buy a container of Barr's Leak Copper coolant system stop-leak. (Its $10 and looks like liquid copper in a clear container)
Add half of it to coolant per instructions. (I drained some coolant from reservoir to make room for the stop-leak)

Drive car as directed by manufacturer's instructions and keep tract of coolant level. If problem abates, just top off coolant reservoir with coolant and happy motoring. If not, add remainder of dose.

I recently used it on y 2002 Chevy Malibu and since a six cylinder engine, only used half a dose. What a deal!!!

Good Luck

I am getting message "Coolant low". My sister

Welcome to Fixya

You need to add few ounces of coolant to the reservoir. The reservoir is located under the hood. It is a white plastic that has liquid in it. Please see picture below of the coolant reservoir.

Where is the dipstick for checking the brake fluid

The brake fluid reservoir does not use a dipstick for checking levels.

The reservoir is located on the driver side of the vehicle in the engine compartment, directly in front of the firewall and to the left of the strut tower.

It has a black cap on it that will have the fluid type required and a warning about cleaning the cap before removing it. This helps prevent anything from contaminating the fluid. If you see that the reservoir is dirty, cleaning it will reveal the fill line for the fluid level. Fill with the described fluid requirement on the cap.

How I bleed the clutch system on 1995 Ford Escort LX. Where is the liquid canaster located at?

The reservoir is up top next to the brake fluid. Are you sure you have a hydraulic clutch? It might be mechanical, has a long bolt on it for adj. If it doesn't have the reservoir, look underneath for the bolt. Hope this helps.

Where do i put my power stearing fluid in my 1998 ford escort

Position the vehicle on level ground. Run the engine until the fluid is at normal operating temperature. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and right several times. Position the wheels in the straight ahead position, then shut off the engine. Check the level in the reservoir; it should be at the FULL mark. If fluid is required, remove the cap and add fluid until it reaches the FULL mark.

How do i refill a manual ford escort 9.1 L transmission

You can check and fill your transmission oil level by removing the speedometer drive unit located at the left top. Remove the cable by removing the clip that hold it, then undo the bolt that holds the clamp down, when you remove the actual drive unit it has a level indicator on it. The oil is Ford Mercon Automatic transmission Oil. Let me know if this helps. Also if you need to add oil, you should find the leak and stop it first.
