I have 2002 brick lesabre and it ran hot, I realized the heater hose fitting was bad. I went to the store and brought the heaterhose fitting and they come two in the pack. the long one in the pack is the right size but I seem to can't get it to fit in the area between the manifod and the other side even with getting one side in the other end of the fitting won't bend to get it in the otherside

When you know it *has* to go in there and just won't -- then it's time to modify...
Perhaps a different hose could be more suitable for this sort of modification? Perhaps a little cut off the new one to tweak it a bit?
Best regards

Remove heater hose on a 2002 chevy trailblazer

I haven't looked up the heater hose on your vehicle. Usually I take a utility knife and split the hose, then peel it off the fitting. Jerking the hose around on the heater core end is not a good idea. Usually the hose will form around that fitting, use a utility knife, on the hose ends. You can take heater hose to auto store, show them what size and how long. You could have heater hose fittings that I'm not familiar with, I'd have to look at it, in that case.

No heat air blows just cold air

Let car cool down then check coolant level. If it is low it won't allow coolant to pass through the heater core. If it is ok it could be stuck thermostat or bad heater core. If lines coming out of heater core are hot on both hoses it is good, if only one is hot then it is a plugged heater core. You can take hoses off and use a water hose to flush out heater core from one hose then back the other way through the other hose. Hope this helps!

Both heaterhoses stay cold even if the engine hs been runing and heater was set on max nd high

Check for a stuck thermostat. Housing is usually on the engine block where the heater hose to the radiator connects. Replace the thermostat and hot water should start flowing.

Heater hose fitting? You mean the nipple that comes out of the heater core, that the hose fits onto? You have to replace the whole heater core.

I put new heater core in 2002 Buick lesabre went through more than 2 gallons of coolant bleeding system and still no heat running great thermostat working fine

If the engine is reaching normal temp, and both heater hoses are getting hot, the problem could be a blend door under the dash or the controller.

1993 ford escort heater blowing cool

heater core cloged, get car hot check heaterhose going into heatercore should be two inch thick hoses going into the heatercore, underhood against firewall pasenger side, after hot while running heater on, chech to see if both hoses r hot, if one is cold, that means there is a restriction in the heatercore, sometimes on older cars there is a external valve run by a vaccume hose, or cable, thats fixed in with the heater hoses , sometimes this valve jams and can be manually switched.

Heater hose fittings

Wet the inside of the hose where it pushes on. Use some coolant or even a little saliva (spit). Make sure the hose clamp is loose enough to go over the flared end of the fitting.

2002 Buick LeSabre Custom. Cooling System had brown chiffon looking foam in radiator. Drained and flushed cooling system with water. Disconnected both heater hoses and forced water through in both...

The brown looking chiffon could be oil in the water. However, if you are sure the system is ok then I would check the actuator door motor on the heater and make sure it is allowing the heat into the car. Seems as if you have done as much as you can.

The heater in my 2002 Expedition quit blowing out hot air. We flushed & filled the radiator, took the hoses off and ran water through the heater core and finally changed the thermostat. Still after...

two things that I have seen cause that problem is the blend door get stuck or stop working and the Heater Control Valve go bad and stop the hot coolent from going to the heater core. I hope this info helps
