I have a 2002 Saturn sc1 I changed the ignition and it would start and stall ,I was told to put in a relay switch to the ignition now it won't start at all any suggestions

make sure that you have the wires on the back of the switch connected correctly
indicates that you have the run wire to the ignition and the ignition wire for the start wrongly connected or the ignition switch is faulty
the circuit is this
when in start position power to the ignition goes from one wire
when in run position that first circuit is disconnected and a second wire to the ignition is connected

It wont start with ignition but can clutch start and run fine what wrong with ignition

nothing wrong with the ignition but there is with the battery
when trying to start from the key , the battery falls below that required to start and run the ignition system but with a push start there is enough voltage to run the ignition system and then the alternator cuts in to supply power to all the rest
have a load test done on the battery

2001 dodge stratus no crank no start from ignition

When you use the ignition key you activate both the starter and ignition circuits. When you jump the starter motor all you do is crank the engine - you have not energized the ignition so car will not start.
