92 vw jetta,wont start,runs for3 seconds,when i turn ignition switch on,nodash lights,only battery light appears,no other lightslightup like before,locks work,dont understand what to do now

Is this a 92 Jetta like you describe or a 02 Jetta TDI? If it's a 92 Jetta, I can almost guarantee the ignition switch is bad. Common failure. They're cheap, but require special tools and experience to remove.

Where is the air bag fuse located on a 2001 jetta

The airbag fuse is part of the airbag diagnostic module, it is a one time use (blows during bag deployment) circuit board mounted fuse and is not removable.

Headlights go out and come back on while driving

I'm not an expert but I own a 1997 Jetta and ran into the same problem recently. I took the car to my VW mechanic and he thought it was the ignition switch. I took it in, he replaced the ignition switch ($53 part, $80 installation) and presto... the problem is fixed.

I got 2000 VW Jetta VR6, and my "check engine" and "air bag " light are ON all time.

if you have a autozone in your state take the car there, they scan engine codes for free then replace the sensor that is bad.you will have to go to v-dub for the air bag .

2003 VW Jetta air bag light and ABS light stays on

no it wont. in order for the air bag light to go off you must get a VW air bag resetter. they sell for about 45 bucks. it will reset the light and crash data. since your airbag light is on the airbags are locked up. once reset they will work again. anymore questions give me an email... andrewlangner@yahoo.com

Power to headlights fan and wipers intermitantly cuts out

sounds like it is a lower ignition switch problem. The upper ignition switch is where you insert the key, The lower is an electrical switch that causes this issue. This car probably has air bags, if so, not recommended for an unlicenced technician.
