Question about 1997 Chevrolet Blazer
You could have a piece of carbon stuck in the pintle of the electronic EGR valve. Remove the valve (2 10mm bolts hold it on. turn it over and you should see the pintle sticking out, push it in and out a couple times and clean it out with choke cleaner spray that should help you problem.
