Are there two bolts or nuts holding it to block, on back side and can't see, must just feel and tried a bunch of sockets?

you posted many times
and not one time stated whats wrong. what job
or what got you doing all this.
i have posted to you now, all 22 steps just for the belt, onces thats done the altenator simply unbolts.

you never said what stops you,
we can not magically see how far you got
or what steps you skipped in the 11 steps
just to get off the belt.

2003 TL. How do I remove the oil pan?

Not too hard if it is a southern car, if it's from the north, a bit more effort might be needed because the nuts on the exhaust rust. If you are working on the ground, get it up high on ramps or jack stands. Always put another support under the car. Leave the floor jack in place and use jack stands, slide something, like the front tires, under the car, too. NEVER work under a car without a backup support. Cars can, and do, fall off jack stands.
1st you have to remove the exhaust "A" pipe. 3 nuts, 14mm on each exhaust manifold need to come off. ALWAYS spray a penetrating lube, like WD40, on any exhaust nuts before loosening, and before installing them. You need a really good socket, extension and a breaker bar, make sure the socket is on the nuts correctly, break them loose without rounding them off. Then two 12mm nuts on the support bracket, and 3 14mm nuts at the outlet of the "A" pipe at the converter. If these last 3 are too rusty, you can unhook the exhaust hangers and move the assembly over. (Leave the back muffler hangers on.) Drain the oil. (I always try and do these jobs when an oil change is due) two 14mm bolts going from the oil pan to the transmission, and a 10mm bolt holding an access plate at the transmission end, remove access plate. Now a bunch of 10mm bolts and nut holding the oil pan in place. You might have to pry the pan loose, a big drift works good. There are a couple of spots to hook onto and pry.

Loosen the bolt on the tensioner pulley with a socket wrench to release the pressure on the main belt. Note how the belt is looped around the pulleys so you can put it back properly and then remove the belt from the pulleys.
Locate the bolts on the back of the fan blade and remove the bolts with an open-end wrench. Once the fan blade is loose, remove it from the engine compartment.
Remove the fan pulley from the front of the water pump by unbolting the four bolts that attach the units with a socket wrench. Detach the four nuts that are holding the water pump to the engine block with a socket wrench.
Tap the water pump with a rubber mallet to loosen the seal and pull it away from the engine. Clean any debris away from the engine block where the water pump was attached with a wire brush.
Place a layer of white lithium grease around the O-ring that was included with the new water pump. Position the new water pump and O-ring over the engine block and attach the pump using a socket wrench to secure the pump with nuts.

Starter location on saturn sc1 1999

The Starter is located under the intake manifold on th back bottom side of the motor!
The only way to remove it is from under the car!
Remove the Neg Battery terminal from the battery before going under the car.
If I recall correctly, there are (2) 14 or 15mm bolts holding it to the engine block, one of them is a Blind bolt, as you will only be able to feel its location on the back side of the starter. (tip, when replacing the bolt behind the starter, either have a small magnet inside the socket to hold the bolt inside the socket while tring to locate the hole. You could also use a small piece of paper or plastic bag to wedge the bolt head to the socket so it doesn't fall out while tring to locate the hole!
You will also have a 13mm nut holding the Positive battery and Alt. cable to the starter and a 10mm nut holding the wire coming from the ignition switch.

How to replace oil pan

5.2 liter V8 engine?

Remove the four front skid-plate bolts holding the front skid plate, using a ratchet and socket. Remove the skid plate.

Pull the plastic splash shield away from the vehicle, loosening the retaining clips. Remove the splash shield.

  • Place an oil drain container under the oil pan. Loosen the drain fitting with a wrench until oil drains from the pan. When oil is done draining, tighten the drain fitting.

  • Disconnect the electrical connections running to the starter motor. Remove the starter motor mounting bolts with a ratchet and socket, then remove the starter motor.
  • Remove the oxygen sensor socket from the exhaust pipe, using a wrench.
  • Remove the exhaust manifold bolts where the exhaust meets the manifold on both sides, using a ratchet and socket
  • Place an jack under the transmission to support it. Remove the pressure on the transmission crossmember.

  • Remove the bolts that hold the transmission crossmember in place, using a ratchet and socket. Then remove the crossmember. Place a jack stand under the transmission to keep the transmission from falling off the jack if hit. Once removed, the exhaust will hang down, allowing enough room to remove the oil pan.
  • Disconnect the oil level sensor and the nut retaining the transmission cooling lines, using a wrench.
  • Remove the oil pan bolts with a ratchet and socket, then remove the oil pan and gasket.
  • Clean the mounting surfaces of the new oil pan and engine block. Make sure what ever you use to clean the surfaces dosn't gouge the metal.
  • Place a coat of RTV (gasket) sealer on the engine block where the pan will meet the rear main cap.
  • Place the new gasket on the pan and push the new oil pan into place. Finger tighten the oil pan mounting bolts to hold it in place. Tighten the bolts with a torque wrench to 18 ft-lbs. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE BOLTS! Doing so will cause the gasket to deform and create leaks!

  • Connect the oil level sensor and the nut retaining the transmission cooling lines, using a wrench.
  • Place the exhaust back into position and replace the transmission crossmember bolts and crossmember with a ratchet and socket.
  • Remove the jack supporting the transmission.
  • Connect the exhaust back to both sides of the manifold, tightening the bolts with a torque wrench to 20 ft-lbs.
  • Attach the oxygen sensor socket to the exhaust pipe with a wrench.

  • Replace the starter motor by installing the starter motor mounting bolts with a ratchet and socket. Connect the electrical connections to the starter motor that were disconnected during removal.
  • Push the retaining clips on the plastic splash shield into the appropriate retaining clip holes.
  • Replace the front skid plate by replacing the four front skid plate bolts with a ratchet and socket.
  • Fill the engine with 5 quarts of oil. Make sure to check the level on the dipstick to find the exact level when filling.

    How do you replace a seatbelt in a 98 Toyota tacoma

    Check this generic procedure:
    1. Follow the harness side of your seatbelt (this is the side you pull across your shoulder and lap to connect to the anchor side) to the points where it connects to the car frame.
    2. Using a flat head and Phillips screwdriver, unscrew and pry off any plastic housing that is covering the bolt connections. Select a socket that will fit the bolt and attach the wrench to the bolt.
    3. Feel underneath the car for the other end of the seatbelt bolt. Fit a box wrench to the nut and hold it still while unscrewing the bolt with the socket wrench inside the car.
    4. Unbolt the shoulder attachment of the harness with a socket wrench. Remove the harness side seatbelt from your Toyota Corolla.
    5. Install the new harness side seatbelt by reversing the removal steps, however, make sure to use the new hardware provided with your replacement belt.
    6. Feel down at the bottom of the anchor side of your old seatbelt. There will be one bolt and nut attaching it to the bottom of the car. Remove the bolt using a socket and box wrench.
    7. Install the replacement anchor side. Before you tighten the bolt, connect the seatbelt and make sure that you have the anchor side facing the correct direction to receive the harness. When it is right, tighten the bolt.

    Cant loosen the bolt that holds my alternator on, for my 2006 2.4 camry, ive been using a 14 mil ring spanner and trying to turn it anti clock wise? also how do you loosen the belt?

    Try using a 14mm socket and extension bar.
    If you do not have that then simply get a 19mm ring spanner and use it as an extension bar onto the open end of the 14mm spanner.
    Once loosened you will also need a12mm ring spanner to loosen the pinch bolt that holds the alternator belt adjustment bracket.

    How to replace coil pack on 2004 dodge grand caravan? Power steering resevouir is in the way and can't get to the bolt holding it on. Any suggestions on how to get to it?

    Take the two 8mm bolts off the top. There is a 10mm nut holding it on from the bottom . Use a 1/4 drive 10mm socket and 6" extention going towards the firewall. You may have to feel around with the socket because its hard to see. The reseviour is sloted so you don't have to take the nut all the way off

    Removal of Truckman top

    I've not removed the top off my 2006 hilux. But the process appears simple enough. Open top and the back gate and you should see a series of bolts running along the sides (inside). If you run your fingers under the edge of the pickup sides (outside) you should find the corresponding bolts.

    You will need at least one other person to assist you. One goes inside and uses a spanner/socket/vicegrip to hold the bolts still while the other uses a spanner/socket to loosen the nuts. Loosen _ALL_ the nuts a turn before completely removing any of them. Once the bolts have been removed, the top will be loose. Close the top up (less likely to bend/break) and lift it clear using either manpower or a block and tackle. (I have no idea how heavy the thing is).
