As the spark lugs are accessed by entry through the wheel wells, what is the best way to remove the plate for entry to engine compartment (through wheel well). Is a special tool needed for "unsnaping" the entry covers? Is there a trick to reaching all spark plugs?

A curved trim tool availible through Matco tools. This will un-snap the plastic fasteners in the wheel wells. And if you are refering to the 4.3L engine, remove the steering intermidiate shaft to access #3 cylinder.

My renault clio headlights and dash keeps switching on and off

    • 1 Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels by turning them one-quarter turn counterclockwise using a tire wrench. Do not unseat the wheel from the wheel hub. The only reason for doing this is to make it easier to remove the lug nuts when the wheels are off the ground.
    • 2 Raise the vehicle onto jack stands. Jack up on the jack point behind the radiator and place jack stands under the front pinch welds of the Megane under the front doors. Then, lower the vehicle onto the jack stands.
    • 3 Finish removing the lug nuts with a tire wrench and pull the tire off the wheel hub.
    • 4 Remove the inner wheel-liner screws using a screwdriver and pull the wheel liner down.
    • 5 Pry the access panel off the the inner wheel well to expose the access hole to the headlight assembly. You won't be able to easily see what you're doing in here, so you'll need to do this largely by feel.
    • 6 Squeeze the release tabs on the headlight connector and pull the connector off the back of the headlight.
    • 7 Pull the spring clip off of the back of the headlight and the headlight will come out of the headlight assembly with no trouble.
    • 8 Insert the new headlight into the back of the housing assembly through the access hole in the wheel well. Installation of the removed components is the reverse of removal.

How do i remove the tires on my 99 catera after the lugs are removed. do they pop off or is there another process?

Cadillacs have a center wheel lock underneath the cover on the center of the wheel.

Open up the compartment in the trunk where the jack and tire tool are, and there should
be a special tool that removes the center wheel lock.

At least thats how it is on my Cadillac.

How to replace broken wheel lug?

With the car on a ramp and secure - Remove brake caliper, remove brake disc and undo the hub which has the lugs sticking out.

To do this, remove the metal cap with a screwdriver. Undo top lock nut, washers, castle nut and wheel bearings. This will allow the hub to be removed.

Using a press or a hammer, pop out the broken lug. Refit a new one, this might need pressed in, or you could get lucky with a hammer. Refit all the parts, regreasing the bearings before hand.

Vote for me please for helping, thanks :)

How do i change the battery on a 2008 avenger

The battery is in the engine compartment, but is not accessible from the top of the engine compartment. You will need to remove the front, driver-side tire and remove the plastic panel in the wheel well. Good luck.
