The motor is behind the rear panel beside the rear speaker just below the window. Did you check your fuse? If you do need to replace the motor, the bottom portion of the seat needs to come up. To do that all you have to do is pull up in the middle on both sides where passengers sit. then it will slide out. then the speaker panel cover will have to come off. A flathead screwdriver does this well. Once is off. pull the speaker and disconnect it. the rear interior light will also need to be removed. It should pull out pretty easy, a flathead screwdriver used from the top will do the trick if it doesnt remove easy. then there is just 4 or 5 phillips screws to be removed before the panel can be removed.

Where is the blower motor on a 1993 mercury cougar xr7 with a 3.8 motor

Typically you will find the blower motor on any vehicle in one of two places. Look on the passenger side fire wall. If it is not there then it is most likely one the inside under the glove box on the passenger side. Be aware that blower motors can be difficult to change depending on their location and what else must be removed to get to them.

Seat belt won't retrack after closing door on drivers side ,pass.side works fine

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

As a first course of action I strongly suggest that you pull the seat belt a little harder This can help the metal ball on the mechanism to break loose. If it breaks loose the seat belt will surely retract. If it doesn't help then I believe that the seat belt reached it's break point and will surely need replacement.

Hope you find this information helpful enough and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Passive retraints on both diver and passenger side stopped working at the same time. The fuse if fine. I assume that the motor has gone out and needs to be replaced. Is my assumption correct? If...

Each shoulder belt has its own motor, so it's not a motor issue. The motors are in the panels by the 2 nd row seats.

Go to our site and read the files on this and the pics i put there showing what it looks like.

91 honda ex, passenger front seat belt is not working and the light in the dash board keeps lit, I have check the fuses for it, and all the connection to the belt and it seems all intact...any advise?

Your 1991 model Accord has automatic front retracting shoulder belts and, more than likely, the power retractor motor has gone bad on the passenger side front. If the shoulder seat belt is not in the retracted position, up close against the seat, when the car is running, the seat belt light will stay lit on your dash. Have the seat belt motor inspected and replaced if necessary.

Automatic Seatbelt Inoperable

At the bottom of the pillar between the front and rear door is a round plastic plug that pops out of the plastic cover on the pillar. Inside is the electrical connection for the automatic seat belt mechanism. DISCONNECT it. Also in same hole at the bottom of the pillar is a hex head (allen wrench) bolt. Insert the proper size hex/allen wrench (six sided) into the head of the bolt and turn clockwise (if driver side) until you hear a CLICK. This will release the shoulder harness latch that is in the upper track in the window and it let's it return to the closed door and fastened belt position. DO NOT reconnect the power that you disconnected. This keeps the latch in a stationary position so you can use it manually. On the passenger side turn the hex bolt counter clockwise to release the latch and return it to the closed door position.
Now you have a shoulder harness system that is NOT automatic but it WORKS. You will have to manually latch the shoulder harness in addition to the lap belt. A TWO STEP process just like the older Toyotas. If you really want to fix the automatic system then you need to take apart the doors to get at the track and cables and motor--NOT EASY. Or you can let dealer fix for two hundred dollars each !
