Approx. $1200 & more if the heads need to be rebuilt & planed. I did it recently on an 2003 impala 3.4L & all toll $1100. Good luck!

The heater on the driver side on my 2005 Chevy impala is no working

this could be a temp door motor that has either stuck or quit working and needs replacing.its a tight area to check out so it would be a good idea to have a shop check it out.

My 07 impala is losing anti freeze but nobody can find a leak anywhere how can i solve this problem

if cant find any spots on the ground an you're still losing anti-freeze, from my experience its always been the headgasket, if the headgasket isnt fully blown out your car will seem like its running fine an burn the antifreeze up during the combustion stroke of the engine, or it could be leaking onto the exhaust. check to see if theres any puddles of anti-freeze on top of the engine an check for leaks around the heads. if there is no puddles of leaks it could be your antifreeze is leaking into the engine an burning up during the combustion stroke

2005 chevy impala overheats sometimes. Replaced thermostat, coolant level is good, no leaks found. will run fine for a few days, then suddenly overheat.

I suspect you need to have your radiator cleaned at a radiator shop. This requires special tools and the use of dangerous chemicals.

My 2005 chevy impala blows heat on the passenger side and cold air on the drivers side. Please help! I have tried disconnecting the power fuse for ten minutes to recalibrate and nothing.

I have the same issue with my 2005 chevrolet impala. I took it to the shop and its the dual module control out on the driver side which will cost anywhere from $300.00 to $500.00 to get fixed.

Transmission problems

I had a 01 impala that was **** too. switched to Ford and havent been to the shop since. If you look at the question breakdown for this website you will see 5 times as many posts for chevys than fords. However, you could have gotten a bad rebuild too. I had a rebuild done once and they boke most of the bolts that held the transmission in and didnt replace them.

Radio unlock coed for chevy impala

• A module which communicates on the class 2 serial data circuit which supplies VIN information to the radio is replaced and not properly setup with the correct VIN information for that vehicle. The only way to unlock the radio is by using a scan tool.

Engine run hot, changed thermostat, still gets hot 2005 X-Type 41000 miles

Prob a headgasket leak, I would have a shop preform a leak down test. The test only cost about 99 bucks or so at a indy shop.
