I don't think it makes a difference but the car is a 1992. I switched out the rear sensor off of a 1989 i have for parts can't imagine both are bad but could be. How would you test it?

What is most likely happening is there is a hole in one of the air bags when the sits the bags are not moving but wile driving the bags are al wise moving up and down and when they do this the are uncovering the hole and letting the air out, try this mix up some dish sope and water and put it all over the air bags and then bounce the car and look for bubbles......have fun

let me know if there is any thing else i can do for you.

ok, there is a curb hight sensor at the back of the car it has a rod about 1/4" in diamiter that hooks to one of the rear control arms, make sure the rod is hooked up and the sensor is pulged in if all checks out ok replace the sensor.

it is a vearable resestor sensor so the restence should up up as push down on the car, also could be a bad dump valve on the air compresser, you can plug the dump valve vent and see if the bags stay inflated. if they do replace the valve if not then the bags are leaking or the line from the compresser to the bags

all the switch does is kill the commpreser relay it is there so you can jack the car up with out the system trying to compensate for lifting the car the dump valve is on the commpreser head.

I bought a 2000 Mustang GT with 12,000 original miles. It came from a collections and we use it for crusing once a month or so. Recently I was driving it and after I shifted into second gear, the engine...

I have a 2000 gt that sits for long periods of time and I have to keep it on a battery maintainer or it goes dead. It's caused by parasitic loads. (radio clock, alarm system etc.)
Sounds like a fuel delivery problem?
You may want to check the fuel system reset, it's located in the trunk on the drivers side behind the carpet. I've had to reset mine before because the car wouldn't start after a long period of storage.
If that dosen't solve the problem, you'll have to confirm you're getting fuel to the injectors, all you have to do is connect a pressure gauge to the schrader valve which is located on the front of the left fuel rail.
If you're not getting fuel it may be the electric fuel pump.
