I have taken mine out. You have to get in the trunk and locate the 2 bars holding the rear seat to the backrest. You can see them easily, as they are us shaped. Take a flat head screwdriver, preferably a large one, and slightly bend the bars outward. Then once you get in the back seat give the top of the backseat a good yank out and up, it should come right out.

SOURCE: removing the key switch on a 1987 Chrysler fifth

If you are refering to the ignition switch then without the key you will have to remove the whole steering lock assembly and as the retaining bolts have no heads as they are sheared off you will need to try to remove them with a centre punch now if no joy then cut the thing off with a small radial disk cutter is the only option and renew the unit complete ,Do not damage the transponder behinder the shroud and when new lock fitted then the car will need the immobilisor re-programmed

I am changing a streeing column on a 1987 chrysler fifth ave and like to know how to take it out and to get it apart from the streeing box

There are bolts on the flex connector on the end of the column under the hood that have to come out. Then , there are a couple of bolts that hold the column to the dash. Disconnect all the wiring connectors that go into the column before taking out the bolts that hold it up to the dash.

Where is the starter on a 1987 chrysler fifth ave

ANSWERDisconnect the battery negatve cable. Jack up the pass. side of the car and support it with stands. Disconnect the stater wires and label their location for reattachment. remove the 2 securing blts and remove starter.
Reverse procedure to install.
ANSWER
Spray penetrating lubricant on the starter electrical contacts before you try torquing on the nuts or you will certainly break the small one. Practice your hand yoga and you'll do fine. There is enough room, but Chrysler didn't make it extremely easy.

Sounds like the lights in question are not grounded properly. Check for corroded/loose/broken ground connections.

1988 chrysler 5th Ave. rear seat

Push in and up at the same time at the bottom front of the seat...you need to use some force. Before you start, peek under there with a flashlight and you will see the hooks. Seeing them will give you a better idea on how it comes out. (not hard once you do it a few times)
