If you mean head gaskets. Then yes you replace both. The reason is because if you only do one and then later on the other one goes you are going to wish you had done them both while you had the motor apart. You must have the 3.4 engine in your vehicle. These are known for head gaskets and if you have to do one you should do them both.I always do.Weather at the dealership or at home.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Unfortunately that is the way warranties work. They will only replace what is bad or broken. They will not replace something that is not a problem. This is the same for factory warranties also.Hope this helps.Good luck.

So my best thing to do is to pay outta pocket for the other head to be fixed while its in there and tore apart then??

No, not at all. However if the head was removed because the gasket was bad, or the engine overheated, it is a good idea to remove both heads, inspect them and replace both gaskets.

My 2003 Pontiac Grandam will shut down while I'm driving and it has to do with the security system

The security system is called Passlock. And yes it will turn off the fuel injectors when it starts to fail. Go check out this link, should help inform you about how the system works along with some ways to get around it.

I have 2003 pontiac grandam my warranty company keeps replacing the rod that comes outta the head which is the number 1 3 4 5 and there rethreading it with a heli coli well it keeps blowin it apart so...

I replace the threads with a steel insert kit which is much stronger than heli coil, I have also used heli coil and never had a problem, I have repaired this problem many times if the re threading and insert are installed "properly" it shouldn't recurr.. if the same hole has been stripped several times the head definitely will need replaced. If they remove one head, make sure they remove both of them and replace both gaskets while in there, these engines are prone to head gasket failure

I have a 2003 pontiac grandam with a intake gasket leak. I am planning to have it fixed but i have advised to change the water pump also. I am having no water pump problems is that advisable to do.

CHANGE WATER PUMP WILL SAVE YOU SOME MONEY, TO CHANGE INTAKE GASKET HAVE TO DISAMBLE PART OF YOUR ENGINE , AND IF YOU NEVER HAVE CHANGED YOUR WATER PUMP IT WIL PREBENT FUTURE PROBLEMS. BUT DOESN'T MEANS THAT YOU NEED TO CHANGE WATER PUMP.

I can't locate the transmission fluid dip stick for 2003 Grandam

Your transmission is sealed and has no dip stick, checking the fluid level properly involves using a factory scan tool.
