Where is the pats override button located? specific under dash location. 2002 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD

There is no PATS override button. PATS is Passive Anti-Theft System. It is a transponder chip in the key, and a transceiver ring around the ignition lock cylinder. The Ring looks for the correct chip in a key in order to allow the vehicle to start. A bypass or override button in the vehicle completely advantage of having the chip system and would render is useless in entirety.

Where is location the automatic transmission shift lock relay in my s10 1998 2.2 2wd

Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control Description
The brake transmission shift interlock (BTSI) system prevents the automatic transmission from being shifted out of PARK unless the brake pedal is depressed. When the brake pedal is depressed, the BTSI solenoid releases a lock pawl. This enables the shift linkage to move and the shift lever to operate.
When service operations are required, the BTSI system can be overridden.
On vehicles equipped with a column-mounted shift lever, override the BTSI system by performing the following steps:
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Remove battery voltage from the solenoid.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
For vehicles equipped with floor-mounted shift levers, an override lever is mounted on the right side of the assembly. The override lever can be accessed by removing the shift lever boot. Push the lever to the left in order to override the BTSI.
Which does your S-10 have column or floor shift ? No relay ,has a solenoid .
With Column Shift A/T
The brake transmission shift interlock (BTSI) system prevents the automatic transmission from being shifted out of the PARK position unless the following conditions are present:
?€¢
The brake pedal is depressed.

?€¢
The ignition switch is turned to the RUN or the START position.

When the ignition switch is in the RUN or the START position, the current flows from the B/U Lamp fuse located in the underhood bussed electrical center (UBEC) through CKT 839 (PNK) to the park/neutral position switch. The park/neutral position switch also feeds the backup lamps portion of the switch. With the transmission in the PARK position, the current flows to the BTSI fuse located in the underhood bussed electrical center (UBEC) through CKT 275 (LT GRN). The current then flows to the TCC/stoplamp switch through CKT 584 (LT GRN/BLK). The current continues to the BTSI solenoid through CKT 1135 (DK GRN/WHT). The ground path is provided through CKT 1850 (BLK) to G207. When the brake pedal is depressed, the normally closed contacts in the TCC/stoplamp switch open and the current flow is interrupted. When the current flow is interrupted, the BTSI solenoid de-energizes. The transmission may then shift to another gear. When the transmission shifts to another gear (except PARK), the contacts in the park/neutral position switch open. This condition stops the current flow to energize the solenoid when the brake pedal releases.

Brake shift interlock switch

Since you have mentioned "Park" in the problem, this says that you are driving a vehicle with an automatic transmission. The shift level of an automatic transmission vehicle starting 1990 (and a few years earlier) have a shift lever locking switch/servo that also activates when depressing the brake pedal when shifting out of "P" position on the lever.
There should be an override port/hole where you can disengage the shift lever from Park, located around the base plate of the shift lever. Use this only so you can drive to a service center where they can replace the transmission lock switch/servo; or you can repair/replace the part with some serious elbow grease as this means removing many parts and covers to get to the transmission lock switch/servo.
Hope this helps.

Need to know where the neutral safety switch is

Neutral safety switches are equipped on automatic transmission vehicles only. The location of the switch varies; designs can include a transmission selector shaft or steering column mounting location. You can find this information in your car manual.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My 2004 Honda Odyssey will not come out of park while i am parked on an incline. Also my power sliding doors wont work either. How do i fix this other than using the override switch all the time???

When you park on an incline, ALWAYSset your parking brake BEFOREputting it in park and when leaving the parking brake is the last to be released. Let the parking brakes hold the vehicle, not your transmission.

Onthe door thing, check the engine to body ground strap. It's sjould be located running from the engine to the firewall. See if that helps.

CANNOT TURN CAR ON NOW, WHERE IS THE INTERLOCK OVERRIDE SWITCH

Sounds like you are referring to the transmission interlock switch? This keeps the car from starting if you are not in park.
