Question about 2000 Dodge Intrepid
The smoking problem and the fact the battery does not hold a charge are two different problems. I don't know what sensors were replaced, an oil and filter change will make no difference, the alternator may or may not be the reason for the car not holding a charge. By "brain" I assume you mean the computer was replaced, it is very rare that a computer needs to be ereplaced. All gasoline engines have both spark plugs an at least one coil. Not to offend you, but judging by what you have typed I don't think you know much about automotive repairs, and I also think wherever you're having it repaired has no idea what they are doing. You will save money by taking the carrot a reputable repair shop and having it fixed correctly the first time. Hope this helps. Good luck. And please dint go back to the shop that you've been taking your car to.
