Consult your owner's manual. There are usually two fuses. One is either in the glove box or under the left side of the dashboard. The other relay may be enclosed in a plastic box under the hood. The manual will specify the type of replacement fuse or relay. Clean the electrical contacts with contact cleaner or WD40.

What is it listed as in owner manual. It doesn't say anything about fuse for blower motor. Thxs

In the fuse panel the fuses are listed for their purpose such as Heater, Air Conditioner, etc. Some older cars had an inline fuse on the blower motor wire. I hope this helps you.

Where is the connector located for the blower for heater

If it is not the fuse it could be one of two things. One is the switch. This is the one you turn to adjust the speed of your fan. I have replaced one of these before. It requires you take apart the center console and remove and replace the switch. The other possibility is the blower motor. I have run into this one twice before. It is located behind the glove box and requires you to remove the cover to it and the round fan (squirrel cage) and replace the motor and reinstall. Be sure and check the fuses first. If I remember right there is one specifically for the fan blower. Check the under the hood fuse box as well as the one by the glove box. Your book should specify which one the fuse is in. Good luck

Where is the fuses of the Air Blower and Cigarette Lighter situated

Under the dash, inside the glove box, and check under the hood for the fuse box. On the underside of the fuse box will be labeled what each fuse is for. Blower motor, cigarette lighter.

How to access blower motor

The blower motor is located under your glove compartment on the passengers side.Remove the grey piece being held in by 3 plastic fasteners. Its the piece with the light for the passanger flour board in it. You will see the bottom of the blower motor. You will have to remove 3 screws, a wire plug and a rubber hose that just pulls off to get the motor out.The blower motor is located right behind the glove box. -------- Thanks.Helpmech.

Where is the blower motor located on a 1998 pontiac grand prix se?

under the dash below the glove box
if the blower motor is inop then
1st check for power on the purple wire at the blower motor
if it has power then you need a blower motor
if it does not have power then replace the resister
located beside the blower motor5-7 wire connector
TRICK TO REMOVING THE RESISTER
you will see 2 goldish colored bolts they are 5.5mm remove them
now the TRICK
there is a 3rd bolt you can't see pull down then pull towards you
this will BREAK THE RESISTER OR SLIDE OFF THE BOLT
then when the resister is out LOOSEN THAT BOLT OFF
the resister is slotted slide the NEW RESISTER in the bolt you just loosened then tighten the other 2 leave the hiden bolt loose
hope this helps

I'm looking for the location of the resistor on the blower motor of a 99 pontiac grand prix

If it is the same as a 2002 Grand Prix the resistor is located on the firewall behind the blower motor up under the glove box. You need to remove the blower motor to get to it.
