All light work except tail light and dash lights. turn works, brake works, head ok. All are on the turn signal switch could that be the problem

First check fuse that is for tail lights, Check Owners Manuel under fuses, sometimes fuses control more than one circuit . Is there a dimmer switch for the dash light? Again check owners Manuel. Check the tail light bulbs themselves, make sure there is no corrosion at the bottom of the bulb and contact.

How do I replace my brake light fuse?

The break light have a fuse in the fuse box. If this blows then both break lights will go out. Its usually under the hood in the fuse box or its in the panel on the right or left inside where the front doors close. Some cars have a fuse box under the steering column. If this is not the problem then it may be a break light switch. These are located just up the break petal. Its a switch that gets released when the break is pushed with your foot.

Break lits dont turn on

first i would check your fuses which are usually on the driver side under the dash. also one thing i recommend to anyone who tries to work on their own cars is buy a repair Manuel from pretty much and auto parts store. they contain many repair procedures and a pretty decent troubleshooting section as well. usually around $20-$25 but worth it.

Rear break lights not functioning is this a fuze problem and if so where can it be found? All other lights working fine.

the fuse system is in your owners manuel.most of the fuses are located these days un the hood.if it is not the fuse try looking at the rear tail light to make sure it does not have or have had water in it and caused corrosion.

Light went out on dashboard and I don't have the

It is either the light is burned out or the fuse is bad. Usually fuses are right on the left hand side corner under the dash and another sets are in engine compartment under the hood. The cover to them are all labeled inside. By holding the cover next to the fuses you can tell which fuse is for what. You pull them out one at a time. If it is burned out you will seee a break in them and if the fuse is Ok, the light on your dash is burned out. You can take out the dash by few screws (that holds them in place and) check for the lights

1995 ford mustang break lights do not work.

get a manuel from an auto parts store. in this manuel it will have etm(electrical troubleshooting manuel) it shows the brake lights and wires colors of wires. trace the wire color from the fuse using the diagram. purchase a test light from wal mart to see if your wire has power. if it does there may be a bad connection or component but hte etm shoud show you what components are on the circuit.any questions email me at jacobtaylor3@yahoo.com
