Having problems with my jeep 2000 model i put it on the machine and it gave me this code po748 what does this means

4.7L jeep
the p07 code is tranny error.
cutting off all power means , power to rear wheels or DC battery power to some things ,electrical things die?)
on all cars, DC power must be good first or the computers fail or go mad.
P0455 is gas cap loose, ignore it until all else is cured.
unless cap is missing sure.
Shift Solenoid "D" Malfunction. 0755

fix DC power distribution problems first.
bad grounds, bad connectors, alternator weak or dead
fuses blown or loose
loose wire lugs, or connectors.
rusty ground lugs wires.

title ,DIES Driving.
so dies means engine stalls. not tranny slip right.?
if is stalling can you save the stall before it completes the stall
by fast right foot actions
when it stalls tell the helper all other electrical things that die at the event. Radio dead, head lamps and parking lamps dead.
heater or AC cool blower dead?

Seems to me a pure electrical failure so far.

2 I think this second one may mean Possible causes
- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty Pressure Control Solenoid
- Pressure Control Solenoid harness is open or shorted
- Pressure Control Solenoid circuit poor electrical connection

If you have to use starting fluid you must not be getting fuel. Is your fuel pump working?

Hi.............P0748 being a pressure control solinoid ,elecrical, to me a means that there is an electical problem in the solinoid circuit or the solinoid it self maybe burnt out. The pressure control solinoid is in the trans.On chrysler the solinoids are duty-cycle and controlled by the P.C.M. power train control module which is the same as E.C.M. . A test has to be performed to determine the problem. .

The code P0748 means "Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Electrical.
The GM Diagnostic Scanner can work on your car.

replace wires and plugs if haven't been changed in the last 60k,check coil pacs but doubt 2 of them are out the same time.

One question? Did you clear the codes out of the system with a scanner? I believe that's the only way to do it now,unlike the old days when you could rest by disconnecting the battery. Hope this helps.

49- dimming input is in error
53-door range travel was to small
56-door range travel was too large
I am not sure what they mean. I just happen to have the book of codes
