Hi,
Even with a broken key if you take both pieces of the key to a locksmith they should be able to make you another key. If they cant make another key you can go to pontiac and they can have a key cut using the VIN # from the car but this can get a little costly it is cheaper at the locksmith. Have a good day.

If that is the only key you have, you will have to go to a GM/Pontiac dealer with your vin number to get the key replaced. That is the only way unless you go to the parts store and buy an entire ignition switch. Sorry.

I have a 2001 Pontiac Aztek and the ignition key (with chip) will not turn in the ignition, we only have the one key any suggestions? Do you think it's a problem with the chip in the key, or ignition or...

Sometime the steering wheel will get jammed and you need to rotate it hard backward and forward to get it to come loose. You will need to turn the key as you do this. When free the key will turn if that is the problem and push on the brake also they sometime have to be pushed to release the wheel or to start the newer models.

Parked on a inclined driveway so I went 2 release da car from park into 2 reverse n the shift won't move at all please help me

Sounds to me like there is too much weight on the "park" gear. Have someone push the car forward a little bit, and do it gently, to release some of the pressure on the transmission, and it should shift from Park without a problem. I highly recommend if parking on an inclined driveway, or any hill, to use the parking brake if it is possible to do so. Good Luck

Seat will move up and down but not forward and

There are cables that run the seat up down forward and back. It sounds like the cable has broke for the foward or back adjustment. They are hard to get to I know unless the seat is removed to check

The key won't come out of the ignition.

this may sound strange but will most likely work:

You will need another person to assist you. This usually happens when parked on a hill or grade.

While trying to remove the key, have the second person push the car forward and back as if the car were stuck.

This will revolve the gears in the transmission a little and most likely will release the key.

If not, call your dealer.
