There is probably air still in the lines. Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it?

Sometimes you will need to bleed all 4 brakes more then one time before you will start to have a firm brake pedal, also make sure that you reset the rear by-pass valve that is located on the proportioning valve

My brake pedal slowly losing pressure goes to the floor and then I have to pump it up again

If you break fluid level is correct and your break pedal goes down to the floor means that your master cylinder is going bad and you might loose your breaks completely if not checked or replaced. Your breaking system is down to the last O ring inside the master cylinder, once that rubber O rings goes you will not have any breaks at all. Master cylinders have a number of rubber O rings that work like a plunger or piston that produce pressure within the breaking system. When the first one wears down due to age, your pedal begins to loose break pressure and you have to pump your breaks several times to gain breaking. You are now down to the last rubber O ring and a warning that your master cylinder needs to be checked. You can still use your breaks but only for a few days before the other rubber O ring gives out too. Once both O rings give out you completely loose your breaks.

Air noise when using break peddle in a 2002 Hyundai accent

The fluid leaking out the rear seal of the master cylinder has likely swelled/damaged the rubber diaphragm in your brake booster, causing the hissing sound. Unfortunately, you will need to replace your booster.

Check your parking brake. if it goes down to the floor or does not hold, then your back brakes needs adjusted. bad master cylinders bleed off slowly to the floor while pushing on the brake pedal. If you need assistance on adjusting let me know.

I need a break line diagram for 1995 ford countur

It doesn't connect to master cylinder. The line should connect to a proportioning valve, then from valve to master cylinder.Star at master cylinder and follow lines to proportioning valve.

I need to change the master cylinder in my fj62 landcruiser and I am not sure how to do it. Looking for help please.

If you want to change break master cylinder, first remove two break pipes then remove four nuts which is holding master cylinder to breake booster.careful breake fluid from the car body and your self.

put the new breake master cylinder tight four nuts, before you fit the braeke pipes get some body who can hold breake bedel down put the breake fluide tell him to pump breake bedel when the brake master take fluid hold your fingers where you want to fit brake pipes when you feel more pressure which is pushing your finger tell him to hold the bedel down while you tighting the pipes.
you dont need to bleade the wheels. it is ready.
the ather thing when you remove the breake master put the new one then fit the brake pipes fil with the breake fluide then bump so you must bleade all wheels

Braking

take the top off the master cylinder and while someone is pushing the break pedal down, looks for bubbles coming up in the master. Master cylinder probably needs rebuilding or replacing.
