Question about 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier
I need to know how to hook up my 1996 chevy cavalier motor. could you give me a diagram or picture and tell me where everything goes?
Your cavalier is very simple to work on, they are a good engine with simple technology. emissonwiz's explanation is less than poor. I've been working on the 2.2L OHV/2.2L 2200 style and the new 2.2L/2.0L S/C for a long time. I've done no less than 20 headgaskets on the 2.2L pushrod engine and never needed a manual to establish a "system" you simpley put it together the way you took it apart. If you need help with anything specific let me know i'd be more than willing to help you. Do you have the engine back down in the hole connected to the transmisson? It sounds like you bit of a little more than you can chew but thats the best way to learn.
