Question about 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue
Sounds like you've got a hole in the cooling system some where. Could be repaired with a product such as Radweld, usually good for gooeing up small holes in the radiator or heater matrix.
To find out where the hole is, top the coolant up and go for a run to warm the engine up and induce pressure into the cooling system. When safe stop, lift the bonnet/hood and look for water or steam also check both ends of all hoses. Don't touch anything, its hot.
If you can't see anything, does is smell different inside the car when you run the blower. It could be the heater matrix which has a small hole.
Either way, 1 or 2 small doses of Radweld may cure it. If that's not worked, its time to go to a mechanic.
Although linked, the aircon is another system, that needs to be checked out by someone who knows what they're doing otherwise you could be pumping a load of greenhouse gas into the atmosphere.
