Call your local Jeep deal parts count, than ask to speak with a mechanic ,he should be able to tell ya.Thats the easiest path...or you could Google the question on google search and end up on a Jeep forum with alot of Jeep Fanatics talking about just such problems and get your answer. That is what I do when I get stuck on something like this.

go to benz dealer and they will run radio number on some older models the audio unit must be removed to get the numbers to get code info, or go and get aftermarket unit installed.

Can't get radio on after a dead battery. it says code then err

that is an anti-theft system in the radio - if you bought the car new, there should be a "code" recorded & unlock directions in owners manual. If these are not present - a trip to the dealer is needed to unlock radio

You just need to go to a dealer, as long as its the original radio that was fitted in the car they will charge you £10 to fix it.

Need an unlock code for 1997 camaro

First you need to get a number code from the radio. Hit the number 2 and 3 preset buttons at the same time, after 5-10 second a 2 or 3 digit number will appear. Write down then hit the am/fm button for the 2nd half of the number. Once you have it call GM, 1-800-537-5140, when prompted hit 102107*, the automated voice will ask for the code previously gotten for the radio . (ie; 123456*) It will then give the 3 or 4 digit unlock code. Note this is for Delco radios on Chevrolets. I'm guessing there is a different prompt for radios on other GM divisions.
