Question about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country

1 Answer

I've got dual climate in the front, and the front blower just quit working. The rear blower still works. I get just a little air out of the front vents when i'm going 55 mph down the road. Any suggestions?

I will check the fuse first. Hopefully that is the problem. If not then I will move on to the fan motor. Thanks!

the blower works if I jump the ground to the frame. It will not blow otherwise. Is there a code that will thell what is broken? Could it be the resister module?

I have the same problem. Swapped blower motor. Nothing. Swapped fuses/relay. Nothing. Getting cold it's my wife's van, have 3 small kids and front windshield keeps fogging up. As long as I'm moving it kinda works, it's a pain when there's ice on the windshield.

Chrysler town and country blower quite working

Before you go nuts on getting expensive parts check the blower motor resistor(fan speeds go through it) Maybe the thing blew out. also there is a relay for that and a fuse. Yes just the blower.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

Rear a/c doesn't work i bought a blower motor and connect it to the car but still did not work

Check voltage to all three parts: the blower motor, the blower resistor which is directly connected between the motor and the the switch, or also it could be the switch (remember secure you ground the negative side of the voltmeter to either the battery or to the ground car).

Generally the auxiliary climate control system has dual controls for the driver and rear passengers consisting of temperature/air distribution and blower speed; the rear auxiliary climate control assembly is mounted in a separate overhead console positioned on the headliner above the second row seating area.

Also, with the Owners Manual, you can check the relays substuting it in each position in the fuse panel.

Tell us news.

Dual climate problem for 2005 cherokee limited

a common problem ( mine did it too ) is the blower control relay, under the glove box and behind. it requires taking out the glove box, buying a relay and installing it. unfortunately, the relay often cooks the incoming wire harness, requiring cutting those wires and putting cut wires into new harness. check with www.wjjeeps.com for details.

Heat works in the rear but not in the front, the blower works but it blows cold air

damper in duct to change air flow from heat to air is not working most probably. I am almost certain the navigator will have an actuator motor that has stripped, or the motor has gone bad this is constantly working when you use climate control to control air temperature.
