Your engine oil sensor is a pressure switch used to send oil pressure information to the dash, be it an idiot light or gauge. It is a critical part since your engine will seize up if there is low oil pressure. Replace the sensor or have it replaced. Have the engine tested with a handheld gauge. These are available at any auto supply store.

What o2 sensors are needed for mercedes ml320?

There are two sensors. One is called the pre-cat sensor part# 0015406017 and the other the after-cat sensor part #0015403717.

I don't know where you live so can't tell you any specific websites. But the o2 sensors list for about $248 from the dealer. You can buy these aftermarket for about $50 for a Bosch sensor.

I have an ml320 1999 and the brake sensor message wont come off, i have changed the front & rear brake pads still the problem is unresolved. during the alarm even the gear wont change Can you help?

When you changed brakes did you replace the sensors? Also check to make sure sensor cable is not cut or shorting out. (Had same problem on 300E, put wheel back on and cut new sensor wire)
I'm not aware of brake sensors having effect on gear shift unless it's a safety feature on your model.

Mine did the same thing. Finally took it to the dealer and they replaced the crank sensor. No problems now, except $200 less money in my pocket.

Oil filter

HI, The oil filter is a canister type filter on the top of the engine. You need to pop off the engine cover and you will see the filter cap in the front of the engine. To take it off I would suggest using the special Mercedes filter removal tool. If this is not an option you could use large pliers. Just be careful as this cap is plastic.
