New front brake pads installed. Brake pedal pressure feels fine but will occasionally drop and ABS will engage.

you have to see if a sensor for abs was not damaged while the brake pad was change check that out if you dont see a crack or broken check the wire that go on the front table the wire crack and does our symtom hope it a fixya

You may have air in the brake system, bleed all 4 wheels in this order: RR,LR,LF,RF, check the brake fluid often when bleeding, do not let the master cylinder run out of fluid, if this doesn't cure the issue then your master cylinder maybe going out.

another counterintuitive possibility is poor quality brake pads. Most popular companies make pure junk.
