OEM simply means Original Equipment Manufacturer. That is not the actual code.
The code has to start with:
P for Powertrain
B for Body
C for chassis
U for future systems
The second letter is:
0 for Government required codes
1 for additional extra OEM codes
3 for additional supplementary OEM codes
The 3rd letter is:
1 for fuel/air mixture
2 additional fuel/air mixture
5 idle regulation
8 additional tranmission
9 control module
The 4th and 5th give the final information about the system the previous pinpoint.
So you have to give us all 5 letters before we can interpret the information.
