If it won't come out with a standard fuse pulled, try using a small pair of pliers. The fuse or socket may be corroded, in extreme cases a spark can cause the fuse to almost weld itself to the contacts in the socket. But most likely it is just corrosion.

I have a 2004 chevy surban that keeps blowing the ignition fuse what can cause this

You have a direct short to ground on that power feed circuit . You need to find a power distribution diagram to see what all gets is power from that fuse . Isolate the circuits till the fuse doesn't blow any more , then trace out that circuit that blows the fuse .

Which Ignition fuse ? Which fuse box is it in ? under hood , passenger compartment ?
IGN A
40A
Ignition Switch RUN, START, RUN/START/ACCY
IGN B
40A
Ignition Switch RUN/ACC, RUN/START
Could be ignition switch problem , Chevy has had problems with them .

My power window and door locks fuse keeps blowing.

When the fuse blows figure out what you are doing, what switch is being pressed, then remove the needed panels to access the wiring to the switch and motor it operates, then you will find the damaged wiring and repair the short, no quick fix, just hard grunt work.

Cant find headlight relay fuse

Your Mercury has a complex headlamp circuit but there is no headlight relay fuse. Instead, the central element is the lighting control module which receives power through numerous fuses. The battery junction box contains 40A fuse 104 and 50A fuse 103. The central junction box contains 10A fuses 26 and 8, 7.5A fuse 15, 15A fuses 23 and 1, 10A fuse 9, 15A fuse 7, and 10A fuses 21 and 19.

Have a honda odessey 2000. needs a new DRL relay; but cant find it under the dash _any ideas _

the daytime running lights control unit is behind the glove box. You must first remove the glove box to access the control unit. However, the fuses that supply power to control unit functions are accessible in several fuse boxes. the No. 3 and 8 fuses (15A) and No. 14 fuse (40A) in the engine compartment fuse box, the No. 5 fuse (7.5A) in the driver's kick panel fuse box, and the No. 6 fuse (10A) in the passenger's kick panel fuse box all supply power in some way to the DRL unit. Other inputs that can affect the DRL system include a faulty parking brake switch, faulty combination light switch, faulty headlight relays or blown bulbs, and even the brake fluid float switch.

The fuse F42 in compartment 40A burned

you should have a chart in your owner manual or on the fuse panel cover. You have fuses & relays in the engine compartment too.

BATTERY JUNCTION BOX

CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX

7dd4282.gif
FUSE 42
e2e8916.gif fuse 42 goes from BJB to fuse 37 in CJB. If it is blown, you have a direct short circuit in the wiring or the item it is protecting. Try another fuse first & see if it blows again and what is not working in the car. report back.

please rate as fixya if this is what you needed.
