Question about 2000 Lincoln Continental

1 Answer

I have a 2000 Lincoln Continental. For a while now it happens that I turn the ignition and the car will not start although the battery is ok. I have taken the car to three different places and there is no consensus on what the problem is. It is the strangest thing. I turn the key and the car won't start so I wait for a while and then turn the key and it starts. What could this problem be? It is very frustrating. Thank you.

If it has been determined that there is nothing wrong with any component of the starting circuit, there may be something wrong with the vehicles anti-theft system.

I have the same problem. It's the ignition switch actuator rod. I've already went thru the lock and ign. switch, both are fine.
