2006 chevy colorado fuel system diagram I need help diagnosing the problem of the gas smell coming from my truck. No leaks...but a very strong gasoline smell...please help me out!

The Chilton/Haynes repair manual we got for our 2004 Trailblazer has a fuel diagram. So I believe the same type manual for your Colorado should be no different as to information. Did find in research that there are plastic parts on the fuel lines that run under the air intake. Over time they become brittle due to engine heat since they are on top of engine but under the plastic air tube and are prone to leak over time. Not hard to fix, just a pain to remove the interfering parts.

Where is the thermostat located on my 2004 chevy colorado z71 3.5litre engine

The thermostat is under the housing at the end of the upper radiator hose. Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5929960-s_thermostat . These are genericinstructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me

Received P0455 Evap System Large Leak Detected - 2004 Cavalier

your problem is probably a vacuum hose that goes from the purge valve to the gas tank (crack or broken hose). There should be two of these check both. A broken vacuum line will make the purge valve make a clicking noise that can be mistaken for noisy engine valves.

Vacuum leak

mine is doing the same, it's your pcv receptor on the manifold. that hard plastic cover is actually part of the intake itself, if it "came off" it would cut your intake in half. that seem seals the two halfs together. you gotta pull the whole intake off and replace it... or jimmy rig it.
