Hello there,

My 98 Corolla engine has been rattling (heavily). It happens when I turn the ignition on and while I drive. It seems to rattle less when I turn the wheel (sometimes).

Do you know what's causing the rattling noise?

timing chain tensioners are commen on the 1zzfe. the tensioner is about $50 and the labour another .5 hours.
