When this occurs, you can disconnect the battery for ten minutes, hook it back up, and enter the code again. If this is to no avail, then I would recommend that you call VW.

Radio code

  • The 4-digit code for your radio is listed on the two radio security cards supplied with the vehicle.
  • Enter the code by using the pre-set buttons numbered 1 to 6 and a "beep sound" occurs.
  • If the code is not properly entered, then begin the code entry again, starting with the first digit. If the code is not properly entered in three successive attempts the radio will not accept any entry until the radio has been left on for one hour (the radio display will show the word 'WAIT'). After one hour in the 'on' position the radio will accept three additional entries.

Note: Should you lose your radio security cards, contact your Jaguar Dealer, who for security reasons will require proof of vehicle ownership.

I hope this info helps!

I own a 2003 2500 HD Silverado with roughly 110K mi. I noticed my gauge telling me that I need to "change engine oil" one week after having oil changed! A day later I compared my GPS speed to my...

Hi, I think 2 things have happened. 1st, when your oil was changed, the technician did not reset the oil life back to 100%. This can be done by turning the key on, without starting the engine, consistantly push the accelerator to the floor fully, 3 times. At the last time, the oil life should reset to 100%. The other issue sounds like a different size tire may have been installed, causing the speedometer to read incorrect. A dealer should be able to reprogram the computer to accept the correct size tire, therefore making the speedometer read correctly. This should not be an issue, unless the current tire size is not accepted in the computer, at this point, you ned to change to the correct size tire, or realize you may be off on the speedometer, and accomodate for your speed accordingly. Good luck...Coop

Ford fiesta 02 plate - radio code reset after flat battery but it will not accept the code - now says blocked - how do i unblock it ? any knowledge appreciated!

You are describing the Lock 10 message. Ford charge a fortune to resolve this - up to £200.

However you can fix it yourself with a bit of help. Contact these guys at this link.

They charge £3.50 to decode the radio itself but be sure to use the contact form to let them know the radio is also locked up as this requires an additional procedure to get the radio to accept the code.

They will supply the instructions you need to get it running again. Have used them several times.

Thanks for using FixYa.
