I drive a 2008 Ford Sport Trac and had the oil change a couple of days ago. The oil change light has never gone off. I read my guide and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I even went back to the place I had my oil changed but they did'nt know either. Help please!

This should be in your owners manual. here is a snapshot from your owners manual below. There is an optional panael that's a little different but I think it the same procedure to reset. If it's not just post a reply/comment and i should get an email and I will post the optional one. i just needed to look it up. this is the standard one. I hope this helps and good luck. by the way where you got your oil change should know this and you might want to think about another place to get it down....just a thought as an owner of a shop myself.

Fuel Filter for Sport Trac

If the car is running good no engine problems or poor gas mileage I wouldn't worry about it. This is done as preventive maintenance. Every tune-up parts have replacement recommended periods. Ignition components, all filters and lubricants should all be replaced the most every six moths depending on how much you drive. Its all common sense if you check your oil and its black its time to change it. If your brakes are screeching same thing and if it been six month probably well over 15,000 miles since you replaced the fuel filter it'll be a good idea to change it.
