How do i change to serpentine belt on a 2004 toyota solara?

it uses a spring loaded tensioner.use a breaker bar to rotate the tension and it should just come off.if u need a pic or anything else to do it let me know,

When your hood is open look on the underside of the hood or on the top crossmember. around the top of the radiator. and there should be a little white sticker that shows how to route the belt.

Here is your Solution!
You will need to Locate the Belt Tensioner. It has a Large Pulley on a Bracket that Has a Bolt in the Middle and a Smaller Pulley that Goes Under the Belt and Holds Tension on it. You will need to get a Wratchet, Socket, and Cheater Bar. Turn the Bolt On the Top Large Pulley with the Wratchet and Cheater Bar. Loosen the tensioner pulley to remove the belt. It is the one that has a long bolt running through it. Once you remove the old belt, install the new one using the appropriate diagram from the above two links. Readjust the tension using the bolt you loosened to remove the old belt.
